Welcome to Vrij Groen!
Vrij Groen is a sustainable garden for Leiden and the surrounding areas. You are welcome to come on our gardening afternoons (Wednesdays and Saturdays, please mail or call in advance) to look around or to work in the garden.
We have many flowers, a vegetable garden and a Christmas tree shelter, which has been around for more than ten years. Christmas trees are brought in January and we take care of them until they are picked up again in December for another Christmas.

Public transport: at Central Station Leiden take bus 43 to Den Haag. Get off the bus at stop Haagse Schouw. At the roundabout turn right, walk underneath the highway and follow the road to the left until you reach number 30. It’s a 15-minutes walk.
Opening hours: Wednesday and Saturday afternoon from 1 to 5 PM (to be adjusted in case of bad weather).
